Project Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced professional to provide technical expertise on a major hydraulic infrastructure project involving wastewater conveyance and transfer systems.
The assignment includes complex hydraulic assets such as pumping stations, underground infrastructure, and critical electromechanical systems requiring high standards of performance, reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical and design reviews for major hydraulic infrastructure projects.
- Assess and validate hydraulic and electromechanical design solutions.
- Support the selection and sizing of pumping equipment.
- Lead or review hydraulic transient analyses (surge analysis / water hammer studies).
- Evaluate system performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Contribute to CAPEX and OPEX assessments and value engineering initiatives.
- Prepare technical reports and provide expert recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Support engineering teams and decision-makers throughout project development.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the water and wastewater sector.
- Proven expertise in large-scale pumping stations, hydraulic infrastructure, or underground utility projects.
- Experience in design, design review, owner’s engineering, or technical advisory roles on complex infrastructure projects.
- International project experience is highly desirable.
