Context

As part of the construction and development of critical Data Center infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior Construction Manager MOE to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities during the execution phase.

The successful candidate will represent the Engineering Consultant / Owner’s Engineer team on-site and ensure that all works are executed in accordance with quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements specific to critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and oversee daily construction activities on-site in coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Organize and coordinate all site operations and construction activities.

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with the approved project schedule.

• Verify the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and contractual requirements.

• Supervise adherence to safety regulations, site procedures, and HSE requirements.

• Coordinate interfaces between multiple disciplines, including:

  • HVAC
  • Electrical Power & ELV Systems (CFO/CFA)
  • Civil Engineering
  • Technical Fit-Out Works
  • Critical Infrastructure Systems

• Participate in construction meetings and lead coordination sessions with contractors.

• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and project tracking dashboards.

• Identify technical deviations, project risks, and potential delays.

• Escalate issues to project teams and propose appropriate corrective actions.

• Monitor punch lists, outstanding issues, and readiness activities leading to project handover and acceptance.

• Ensure compliance with the specific requirements of critical infrastructure projects regarding availability, reliability, and construction quality.

Candidate Profile

• Higher education degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Building Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in construction and project execution environments.

• Significant experience gained within a General Contractor organization or a specialized contractor in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • HVAC
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Technical Fit-Out Works

• Proven experience managing construction activities on technically complex projects.

• Previous experience in an Owner’s Engineer (MOE) or Project Management Consultancy (PMC/AMO) role is a strong advantage.

• Experience on Data Center, critical infrastructure, industrial facility, or highly technical building projects is highly desirable.

• Strong expertise in multi-discipline coordination and interface management.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and operational management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Hands-on, autonomous, detail-oriented, and results-driven profile.
