Context
As part of a greenfield industrial installation project carried out under an EPC model, the company is strengthening its HSE setup during the construction phase. The HSE Representative works directly on site to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements in a high multi-activity environment.
Main Responsibilities
Site HSE Supervision
- Ensure the application of HSE rules across the entire site
- Monitor the practices of internal teams and subcontractors
- Maintain a strong field presence (site visits, inspections, audits)
Risk Prevention
- Identify risk situations and implement corrective actions
- Participate in risk assessments (JSA, method statements, prevention plans)
- Raise awareness among teams on safety best practices
HSE Coordination & Communication
- Lead safety briefings (toolbox talks)
- Participate in safety inductions for new arrivals
- Promote and develop a strong safety culture on site
Incident Management
- Participate in investigations following accidents or near misses
- Analyze root causes and propose corrective actions
- Ensure follow-up of action plans
Compliance Monitoring
- Verify compliance of equipment, installations, and work methods
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and project standards
- Monitor certifications and work permits
Reporting
- Report HSE indicators (accidents, incidents, actions)
- Provide regular reporting to HSE and project management
- Track safety and environmental KPIs
Profile
- Degree in HSE or equivalent
- Experience in industrial or construction environments
- Good understanding of site constraints
Skills
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations
- Ability to work in multi-company environments
- Field-oriented mindset, rigor, and responsiveness
- Strong communication and training skills
- Language: Professional English required
