Context
As part of the development of our activities in the energy sector, we are looking for a QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout construction and commissioning.
The role ensures the effective implementation of the Project Quality Assurance Plan and applicable QC procedures while overseeing inspections, non-conformities, audits, and final quality documentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure implementation of the Project Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
- Ensure strict application of QA/QC procedures across site activities.
- Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate and monitor inspections during construction and commissioning.
- Verify compliance of works and installations with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable requirements.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports and ensure timely closure.
- Define and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and conduct internal and subcontractor quality audits.
- Monitor quality indicators and provide regular reporting to project management.
- Ensure traceability and completeness of quality records.
- Consolidate as-built records and final quality documentation.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC management systems for industrial projects.
- Expertise in Quality Assurance Plans, ITPs, non-conformity management, and quality audits.
- Strong knowledge of inspection and acceptance processes.
- Experience in quality control during construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Ability to investigate quality issues and manage corrective actions.
- Good knowledge of applicable industrial quality standards and requirements.
- Strong document control and quality record management capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Engineering degree or Master’s degree in a technical, industrial, or quality-related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC on complex industrial projects.
- Proven quality management experience during construction and commissioning.
- Experience in the energy sector is highly valued.
- Ability to coordinate quality activities across multiple disciplines and subcontractors.
