Context
As part of highly technical energy projects, we are looking for a Works Coordinator specializing in 3D surveys and commissioning. You will operate at the interface between on-site activities, BIM, and commissioning phases, with the objective of ensuring consistency between executed works, digital models, and operational installations.
Main Responsibilities
Works Coordination
- Plan and monitor the progress of on-site works.
- Supervise teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare, lead, and document site meetings.
- Ensure coordination between the various stakeholders (construction, design offices, BIM, commissioning).
Site Surveys and 3D Modeling
- Carry out on-site surveys using digital tools:
onboard cameras, 3D scanners, drones, and photogrammetry solutions. - Process, analyze, and convert field data into usable 3D models.
- Verify the compatibility of deliverables with AutoCAD, Revit, IFC, and the project’s BIM standards.
Commissioning and Start-Up
- Participate in commissioning activities to verify the proper operation of installations.
- Perform on-site tests, inspections, and validations.
- Identify, analyze, and report anomalies or non-conformities to the relevant teams.
- Prepare commissioning reports and follow up on corrective actions.
BIM Monitoring and Coordination
- Integrate 3D models derived from surveys into the existing BIM model.
- Detect inconsistencies and clashes between drawings, field surveys, and installed systems.
- Provide project teams with detailed reports and usable 3D visualizations.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Verify consistency between execution drawings, 3D surveys, completed works, and commissioned installations.
- Ensure compliance with the project’s technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Degree (Associate to Master’s level) in Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying, BIM, Energy, or Commissioning.
- 3 to 5 years of experience on construction sites and/or in BIM coordination and commissioning.
- Proven experience in a construction environment with strong on-site interaction.
- Coordinator/supervisor profile with partial technical responsibility (no overall strategic decision-making).
- Ability to work at the interface between site operations, design, and commissioning.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of commissioning processes and technical installation testing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BIM models.
- Use of 3D surveying tools, laser scanning, and photogrammetry.
- Knowledge of IFC formats and project BIM standards.
