Context :
As part of large-scale rollout, swap, upgrade, and maintenance programs, we are reinforcing our field teams to ensure high-quality deployment and operational continuity of telecom networks (RAN & Transmission) across multiple sites.
The Field Services Engineer operates directly on-site and plays a key role in the deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of telecom infrastructures, including radio access network (2G/3G/4G/5G) and transmission systems (MW, Fiber, IP).
The role involves working in multi-vendor environments and coordinating with integration teams, NOC, and project management to ensure timely delivery and network performance.
Activities are carried out in a fast-paced and multi-site environment, requiring strong autonomy, adaptability, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Execute site surveys (TSSR) and validate technical prerequisites before deployment
- Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of RAN equipment (NodeB, eNodeB, gNodeB)
- Handle MW and fiber transmission equipment installation and alignment
- Conduct acceptance tests (ATP, SAT, PAT) and ensure successful handover
- Troubleshoot hardware/software faults on-site and coordinate with remote teams (NOC, FO, Integration)
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and client requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and as-built files
Profile Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in field operations within telecom projects
- Strong experience in multi-vendor environments
- Availability for frequent travel and on-call interventions
Skills & Tools:
- RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G), Transmission (MW, Fiber)
- Tools: OTDR, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter
- Basic IP configuration (VLAN, routing basics)
