Job Context
The Tools & Methods Engineer supports digital transformation and operational efficiency within telecom operations. The role focuses on automation, process optimization, and development of internal tools to improve engineering and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop internal tools, scripts, and automation solutions
- Automate repetitive engineering and operational tasks
- Improve and optimize existing workflows and processes
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the organization
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify improvement opportunities
Candidate Profile
- 5–8+ years of experience in telecom or technical environments
- Strong development and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives
- Ability to work in cross-functional technical teams
Technical Skills
- Programming: Python (automation, scripting, data processing)
- Databases: SQL (querying, data extraction, reporting)
- Data analysis and visualization tools:
- Power BI
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, dashboards)
- Understanding of telecom operational environments is a plus
