Context
As part of the launch of a data center project, the role involves leading the early design phase (RIBA 2 / Preliminary Design). The objective is to structure, coordinate, and secure technical studies (electrical and HVAC), ensuring the quality of deliverables and compliance with project requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Design Management
- Lead the preliminary design phase (APS / RIBA 2) of the data center project
- Coordinate technical studies in electrical and HVAC disciplines
- Ensure overall consistency of proposed technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and optimization of solutions (value engineering)
Project Management
- Manage a work package or project
- Develop and monitor:
- budget
- project schedule
- resource plans (mobilization / demobilization)
- Prioritize activities and secure key milestones
Supervision & Coordination
- Lead a team of engineers (design and/or construction)
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders
- Provide project reporting to stakeholders
Studies & Deliverables Management
- Supervise the production of studies:
- preliminary design (APS), detailed design (APD), project design (PRO), tender documents (DCE)
- Ensure the quality of deliverables:
- technical files
- schedules
- contractual documents
- Participate in drafting and validating technical documents
Procurement & Tendering
- Lead supplier tenders
- Analyze technical and commercial offers
- Contribute to partner selection
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Degree in electrical engineering (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in design phases (APS / RIBA 2)
- Experience in data center environments or highly technical complex projects is highly valued
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC design studies
- Solid understanding of design phases: APS / APD / PRO / DCE
- Ability to propose optimized technical solutions
Project Management Skills

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Communication
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
