Context
As part of our complex industrial projects, we are looking for a CFO Commissioning Engineer to ensure the management and monitoring of electrical testing activities on site.
The role is within a data center environment or critical industrial facility, with strong requirements in technical coordination, documentation quality, safety, and adherence to commissioning schedules.
The commissioning engineer works in interface with construction teams, commissioning teams, operations, suppliers, integrators, and the end client to ensure smooth execution of tests and proper preparation for commissioning.
Responsibilities and Missions
Commissioning & Testing Management
- Organize, coordinate, and prioritize LV electrical tests on site
- Ensure monitoring of commissioning activities according to the project schedule
- Participate in energization and commissioning sequences
- Supervise functional tests and system testing
- Coordinate technical stakeholders during testing campaigns
- Track technical punch lists and corrective actions
- Interface with construction, QA/QC, and operations teams
Technical Monitoring
- Verify installation compliance before testing
- Participate in FAT, SAT, ISAT, and L1 to L5 testing phases
- Control test procedures and ensure proper execution
- Read, complete, and validate test reports
- Contribute to technical failure analysis
- Monitor performance and results of electrical tests
Documentation Management
- Ensure tracking and completion of commissioning dossiers
- Verify documentation compliance before handover
- Consolidate test reports and technical documentation
- Participate in the preparation of handover files
- Ensure traceability of tests and modifications
Required Technical Skills
Technical Knowledge
- HV / MV / LV
- Industrial low-voltage electrical systems (CFO)
- Mechanical / HVAC
- ELV (Extra Low Voltage systems)
- Fire protection systems
- Data center infrastructure operations
- Commissioning phases L1 to L5
- FAT / SAT / ISAT processes
- Reading and following test procedures and reports
- Multi-system test coordination
- Commissioning documentation tracking

The candidate must be proficient in:

Profile Required
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Proven experience in CFO commissioning
- At least 3 years in a similar position preferred
- Field experience in critical industrial environments
- Ability to coordinate multiple companies and technical interfaces
- Good understanding of construction site and commissioning constraints
- Ability to work in highly demanding and coordinated environments
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Analytical mindset and field responsiveness
