Context
As part of our complex industrial projects and commissioning activities, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to ensure monitoring and coordination of technical testing activities on site.
The role is within a demanding environment with strong constraints related to coordination, scheduling, and documentation tracking. The engineer will work in interface with construction, technical, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure the smooth execution of testing and commissioning operations.
Responsibilities and Missions
Testing Management
- Organize and coordinate technical testing activities on site
- Prioritize testing activities according to project constraints
- Monitor test progress
- Participate in commissioning operations
- Identify technical deviations and blocking issues
- Provide reporting to project teams
- Coordinate interfaces with technical teams and contractors
Documentation Management
- Complete test reports
- Ensure tracking and updating of commissioning dossiers
- Verify documentation compliance of tests
- Consolidate commissioning tracking documents
- Participate in the preparation of handover files
Technical Support
- Participate in FAT / SAT / ISAT
- Work across commissioning phases L1 to L5
- Verify proper execution of test procedures
- Participate in technical anomaly analysis
- Support teams during energization and functional testing
Required Technical Skills
The candidate must have knowledge of:
- Low Voltage electrical systems (CFO)
- HVAC / CVC systems
- Industrial commissioning
- Commissioning of technical installations
- Reading and tracking test reports
- Commissioning documentation management
Knowledge of data center operations is highly appreciated.
The candidate should be comfortable with the following phases:
- L1 / FAT
- SAT
- L5 / ISAT
Tools
The candidate must be proficient in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Dalux
- BIM 360 or equivalent
A plus:
- CxAlloy
Profile Required
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in commissioning or technical testing supervision
- Field experience in industrial environments
- Ability to coordinate multiple technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of construction site and commissioning constraints
- Strong documentation discipline and organizational skills
- Analytical ability and field responsiveness
