Context

As part of complex industrial programs with a strong construction component, we are seeking a Senior PMO to ensure the coordination and cross-functional management of multiple projects.

The position is within a multi-project environment involving several delivery teams, each operating with their own resources and management tools. The PMO acts as the guarantor of overall schedule consistency, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and performance reporting consolidation.

The role supports Program Management in the strategic oversight of activities and contributes to optimizing resource utilization across the entire project portfolio.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Governance and Management

• Ensure the overall management of a portfolio of complex industrial projects.

• Coordinate the activities of multiple project entities operating with their own organizations and schedules.

• Ensure consistency between roadmaps, priorities, and strategic milestones.

• Establish and maintain project and program governance tools and processes.

Planning and Resource Management

• Consolidate and analyze schedules provided by the various project teams.

• Identify workload conflicts and potential resource bottlenecks.

• Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects and construction sites.

• Monitor resource capacity and requirements in the short, medium, and long term.

• Ensure effective synchronization of activities between the different project entities.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitor project progress through consolidated performance indicators.

• Track contractual and operational milestones.

• Produce dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for management.

• Analyze schedule, cost, and performance variances.

• Propose and monitor corrective action plans.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Lead multi-project steering and coordination meetings.

• Facilitate interfaces between engineering, construction, quality, logistics, and operations teams.

• Monitor risks, opportunities, and critical issues.

• Ensure effective communication among all program stakeholders.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Define and monitor project and program KPIs.

• Contribute to the improvement of planning and project control processes.

• Structure and enhance reporting methodologies and performance monitoring practices.

• Support the management of operational and organizational risks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, HSE, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management, PMO functions, or the management of complex industrial programs.

• Significant experience within the energy, nuclear, industrial infrastructure, or large-scale construction sectors.

• Strong background in multi-project management and project portfolio governance.

• Excellent knowledge of project planning and project controls methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).

• Proven experience in schedule consolidation and resource management.

• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and technical interface management challenges.

• Knowledge of quality, safety, security, and HSE requirements applicable to highly regulated industrial environments.
