Context
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Draftsman to work on special machine design projects. You will join a technical team responsible for developing innovative mechanical solutions, from the design phase through to the preparation of manufacturing documentation.
Please note: this position involves projects subject to regulatory requirements related to the defense sector. Candidates must be eligible to meet the access requirements applicable to these programs.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Design 3D mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Produce assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in the development and improvement of special machines and equipment.
• Integrate technical, functional, and industrial constraints into the designs.
• Update drawings and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the technical and production teams.
• Ensure that the designs comply with the project requirements.
Required Profile
• Bachelor’s degree +2 to +5 in mechanical engineering or mechanical design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience with special machines is a plus but is not mandatory.
• Proficiency in at least one mechanical CAD software package.
• Accuracy, autonomy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Team spirit and strong communication skills.
