Context
As part of the reinforcement of our client’s teams, a recognized player in the nuclear sector, we are looking for an experienced Product Quality Technician to ensure quality monitoring of fabrication activities in industrial fabrication and welding. You will play a key role in ensuring product compliance, adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements, and managing quality relations with clients.
Main Responsibilities
• Monitor applicable quality standards and reference frameworks for the nuclear sector.
• Analyze specifications to identify quality requirements and associated documentation deliverables.
• Ensure the consistency, updating, and application of product quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as internal procedures.
• Provide technical support to production teams on quality-related matters.
• Inspect and certify the conformity of finished products.
• Prepare inspection reports, compliance reports, non-conformity reports, and traceability documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and raise team awareness of quality requirements.
• Organize and lead quality meetings.
• Act as the quality contact for clients during inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
Technical Skills
• 5 to 10 years of experience in product quality within an industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of the nuclear sector, industrial fabrication, and welding.
• Proficiency in quality standards and reference frameworks applicable to the energy sector.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, materials, and their treatments.
• Proficiency in measurement and inspection tools.
• Strong proficiency in IT tools and excellent writing skills.
• Knowledge of traceability and document compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile
• Technical education from Bac+2 to Bac+5 level in quality, mechanical engineering, industrial fabrication, or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience in product quality within the nuclear sector or a highly regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate with production teams, clients, and inspection bodies.
• Ability to work in an environment with stringent quality, safety, and traceability requirements.
