Mission Context:
As part of the final phase of a railway infrastructure project (new line or upgrade), we are seeking a Works Coordinator to oversee operational coordination and site supervision during the testing and commissioning phase. You will act as the on-site liaison between construction teams, testing leads, engineering consultants, and contractors.
Main Responsibilities:
Testing / Works Coordination:

Assist in scheduling test campaigns (with systems, track, power, equipment teams)

Ensure site readiness and availability of installations before testing

Coordinate remaining construction works with commissioning operations

Monitor punch list clearance before initiating tests
On-Site Supervision:

Maintain a daily on-site presence to monitor the progress of works and testing

Verify site safety conditions (signage, lockout/tagout, PPE, etc.)

Ensure that works are compliant with planning and safety requirements

Escalate planning conflicts, interface issues, or delays for resolution
Meetings & Reporting:

Participate in coordination meetings (testing / works interface)

Draft progress reports, meeting minutes, non-conformity records, and issue logs

Ensure proper traceability of corrective actions and cross-team communications
Quality, Safety & Compliance:

Apply and enforce project QHSE procedures

Check the compliance of installations with applicable standards and client requirements

Support non-conformity management and documentation updates
Profile Sought:
Education:
-
Bac+2 to Bac+5 (Associate’s to Master’s degree) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Public Works, or Site Coordination
Experience:
-
3 to 5 years’ field experience in a railway, industrial, or heavy infrastructure project

Experience in testing and commissioning phases is a strong plus
Skills:

Solid understanding of railway infrastructure (track, systems, power…)

Proficient in multi-trade coordination in complex site environments

Familiar with QHSE standards applicable to construction sites

Good documentation and reporting practices
