Position Context
As part of complex industrial projects in the nuclear energy sector (facilities, infrastructure, modifications to existing structures, construction and engineering projects), the Senior Planner (XP I) works within project teams to ensure effective schedule control. The role is set in a highly regulated environment with stringent safety requirements and multiple interfaces between engineering, construction, suppliers, and clients, within an international context.
Main Responsibilities

Develop, structure, and maintain detailed schedules for nuclear projects (engineering, procurement, construction, testing) using Primavera P6

Define contractual milestones, critical paths, and technical and regulatory constraints

Monitor physical progress, analyze schedule variances, and propose corrective actions and rescheduling scenarios

Contribute to technical decision-making related to planning and schedule optimization

Coordinate planning interfaces between engineering, construction, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors

Provide methodological support and partially supervise junior planning resources

Produce planning reports for project management and the client

Participate in progress and coordination meetings, including with international stakeholders
Required Profile
Education
-
Engineering degree or Master’s level qualification (civil engineering, industrial engineering, energy, mechanical engineering, or equivalent)
Experience
-
At least 10 years of professional experience in industrial project planning

Significant experience in the nuclear sector or highly regulated energy environments is strongly preferred
Technical Skills

Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6

Strong expertise in planning, project management, and schedule risk analysis

Good understanding of industrial engineering and construction processes

Knowledge of nuclear regulatory and standards-based environments
