Context

As part of nuclear projects, the Low-Voltage Design Engineer – Control & Instrumentation contributes to the design and modeling of low-voltage electrical installations and control & instrumentation systems.
The role is set within a highly demanding industrial environment, requiring strong technical rigor, proficiency in CAD tools, and solid knowledge of industrial and nuclear standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out low-voltage (LV) design and engineering studies for nuclear installations

  • Develop and update drawings, schematics, and synoptic diagrams related to control & instrumentation systems

  • Participate in the analysis and sizing of electrical circuits and associated protection systems

  • Interface with engineering, methods, and construction teams to ensure technical consistency

  • Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear standards and reference frameworks

  • Monitor technical approvals and participate in design reviews

Candidate Profile

  • Education: 2- to 5-year post-secondary degree (Bac +2 to Bac +5) in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or equivalent

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in low-voltage and control & instrumentation design within an industrial environment

  • Experience in nuclear or highly regulated projects is an advantage

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
