Overview
Our organization is currently seeking experienced Energy Audit Experts or Specialized Consulting Firms to conduct comprehensive energy audits for cement plants across Saudi Arabia.
This engagement aims to assess current energy performance, identify optimization opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and support sustainability objectives within the cement manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed on-site energy audits in cement manufacturing facilities
- Analyze energy consumption across production lines, including kilns, mills, compressors, and auxiliary systems
- Evaluate thermal and electrical energy performance
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for energy optimization
- Provide technically sound and financially viable recommendations
- Develop comprehensive audit reports with clear action plans and ROI analysis
- Benchmark plant performance against industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with plant management and technical teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international energy regulations and standards
- Present findings and strategic improvement roadmaps to stakeholders
Required Experience
- Proven experience conducting energy audits in heavy industrial environments
- Strong background in cement plant operations (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in thermal systems, process optimization, and industrial energy management
- Experience in energy modeling, monitoring systems, and performance analysis
- Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 50001 is considered an advantage
- Previous projects in the GCC region, particularly KSA, are a plus
Required Profile
- Energy Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or relevant technical background
- Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to deliver structured, data-driven technical documentation
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation capabilities
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- For firms: Demonstrated portfolio of completed industrial energy audit projects
