Context:
As part of the development of commissioning and automation activities, we are looking for an Automation Engineer to work across the entire French territory.
You will mainly be deployed on client sites for testing, start-up, validation, and optimization of automated installations in a demanding industrial environment.
The position is aimed at profiles oriented toward commissioning, or capable of combining design work and on-site interventions.
Main responsibilities:
• Carry out commissioning of automated systems: tests, adjustments, optimization, functional analyses.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal (structured text).
• Read, analyze, and use electrical and automation diagrams.
• Identify and resolve technical malfunctions, propose corrective actions.
• Write intervention reports and technical reporting.
• Occasionally participate in design activities depending on project needs.
• Work in coordination with internal teams, the design office, and end clients.
Profile:
• Level: technician / automation engineer – execution role (no decision-making responsibilities).
• At least 2 years of experience in automation or commissioning (excluding internships or apprenticeships).
• Proficiency in:

Reading electrical diagrams
• English required (documentation, technical communication).
• Strong interest in field work and frequent travel across France.
• Autonomy, diagnostic skills, and ability to operate in diverse client environments.
