Context
As part of a large-scale, complex industrial project—such as a gigafactory or an energy site—the Electrical Change Manager is responsible for managing and controlling technical and contractual changes related to electrical installations (CFO / CFA).
The role acts as an interface between engineering, construction, planning, contract management, and suppliers to secure the technical, financial, and schedule impacts of modifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the change management process for the electrical scope
- Analyzing change requests (design evolutions, on-site adaptations, technical optimizations)
- Assessing cost, schedule, risk, and interface impacts
- Coordinating with electrical engineering, construction, and contract management teams
- Monitoring internal and client approvals
- Contributing to updates of technical documents, schedules, and contractual elements
- Providing regular reporting on the status of electrical changes within the project
Required Profile
- Education: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 12 years on complex industrial projects
- Proven experience with industrial electrical installations (CFO / CFA)
- Experience in energy, batteries, or nuclear projects is an advantage
- Professional level of English required
