Context
As part of a large-scale, complex industrial project—such as a gigafactory or an energy site—the HVAC Change Manager is responsible for managing and controlling technical and contractual changes related to HVAC/CVC systems.
The role acts as an interface between engineering, construction, planning, contract management, and suppliers to secure the cost, schedule, and quality impacts of modifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the HVAC technical change management process
- Analyzing change requests (design changes, on-site evolutions, optimizations)
- Assessing technical, cost, and schedule impacts of changes
- Coordinating with engineering, construction, and contract management teams
- Monitoring internal and client approvals
- Contributing to updates of project documentation (technical, planning, contractual)
- Providing regular reporting on the status of HVAC changes
Required Profile
- Education: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in HVAC Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 12 years on complex industrial projects
- Proven experience with industrial HVAC / CVC systems
- Experience in energy, batteries, or nuclear projects is an advantage
- Professional level of English required
