Main Objective

As part of our growth strategy across European markets, ProjectTech is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to identify, source, and introduce new business opportunities in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Energy, and Consulting.

This is primarily a business introducer and deal-sourcing role, focused on identifying viable projects, partners, and clients that ProjectTech can engage with or develop commercially.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify and qualify project opportunities in the target sectors (Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Energy, Consulting).
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients: private companies, public entities, developers, investors, and consulting firms.
  • Gather accurate project intelligence (scope, budget, schedule, key stakeholders, and decision-makers).
  • Negotiate collaboration or representation agreements with local partners and clients.
  • Present verified business leads and potential projects to ProjectTech Management for evaluation.
  1. Sourcing & Partnership Development
  • Identify and engage with technical partners, service providers, and consultants who can collaborate with ProjectTech.
  • Establish strategic alliances and explore synergies between regional players and ProjectTech.
  • Build and maintain a robust professional network across European business communities (contractors, engineering firms, chambers of commerce, trade agencies, etc.).
  1. Follow-up & Reporting
  • Provide regular activity and pipeline reports summarizing sourced projects, partnerships, and leads.
  • Ensure transparency and traceability of all introduced opportunities.
  • Work closely with ProjectTech Management to evaluate the feasibility and commercial potential of each opportunity.

Profile Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Deal Sourcing, or Partnership Management, preferably in Consulting, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Proven track record of generating business opportunities in European markets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong local business network and market knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with Project Management and Consulting industries.
  • Fluent in English and French; other European languages are an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent reporting and coordination with headquarters.
