Context:
Lead and secure the contractual execution of a complex railway project based on a FIDIC (EPC-type) contract, by providing advanced expertise in claims management, contract monitoring, and coordination with field teams.
Main Responsibilities:
1. FIDIC Contract Management:

Monitor the application of FIDIC clauses (Yellow/Red Book adapted for MOE)

Provide daily contractual advice to the project management team (MOE)

Ensure deliverables and project execution comply with contractual obligations
2. Claims Management:

Analyze, draft, and support claims (e.g., time extensions, financial claims)

Cross-analyze contract data, schedules, and pricing documentation

Quantify delays and costs related to validated claims

Manage follow-up, response, and negotiation with contractors, clients, and lenders
3. Technical Interface:

Liaise regularly with planning, cost, and execution engineers

Read and interpret drawings, schedules, and cost tables

Possess sufficient technical understanding to communicate effectively with field teams
4. Reporting & Documentation:

Draft contractual notes and decision-making documents for management

Prepare contract tracking tables and claim summaries

Participate in contractual coordination meetings
Candidate Profile:

Education: Engineer, construction law specialist, or hybrid technical/legal background

Experience: Minimum 10 years in contract management on large-scale infrastructure projects

Languages: Fluent English required (professional spoken and written)
