Position Context
As part of electrical installation projects in industrial, tertiary, or infrastructure environments, the Electrical Designer is responsible for producing and updating execution studies. The role supports technical teams in formalizing electrical solutions and ensures the consistency of documents delivered to construction teams.
The position operates within a project-based environment involving regular coordination with project managers, design teams, site managers, and field personnel.
Main Responsibilities
Production of Electrical Studies and Drawings
• Develop layout drawings and technical documentation for low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical installations (LV / MV).
• Produce electrical schematics required for study and execution phases (single-line diagrams, multi-line diagrams, wiring schedules as needed).
• Translate technical requirements and project data into design tools in order to create usable documentation packages for site teams.
Design and Documentation Updates
• Perform modeling and drafting of installations using dedicated CAD software.
• Integrate technical modifications, site feedback, and design adjustments into project documentation.
• Ensure consistency between drawings, schematics, and other technical deliverables.
Operational Support
• Prepare execution files intended for construction and installation teams.
• Participate in the technical follow-up of studies in coordination with the various project stakeholders.
• Occasionally carry out site surveys to validate input data or update existing drawings.
Required Criteria
Education
• BTS, DUT, or Bachelor’s degree specializing in Electrotechnics or Electrical Engineering
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Good command of electrical design software (SEE Electrical or equivalent)
• Ability to interpret and work with electrical drawings and schematics
• Basic knowledge of electrical calculations and preliminary sizing
• Understanding of LV / MV electrical architectures
