Context:
As part of industrial projects, the Low Voltage Electrical Designer/Draftsperson is involved in the design and updating of low-voltage electrical installations.
The role contributes to the production of detailed design studies and technical documentation, working closely with engineering, construction, and methods teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of low-voltage electrical drawings and schematics (layouts, cable routing, single-line diagrams)
- Production and updating of execution documents in compliance with project requirements
- Participation in technical studies and design adjustments
- Interface with engineering, construction, and design teams
- Integration of site feedback and updating of “as-built” drawings
- Contribution to compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements
Profile Required
- Education: 2- to 3-year degree in Electrotechnics or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years as a Low Voltage Electrical Designer/Draftsperson in an industrial environment
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD
- Use of Caneco for low-voltage electrical system sizing
- Ability to work on technically complex projects
