Context and Objective
As part of the development of its activities on next-generation nuclear projects, notably the EPR2 program, the company is strengthening its quality teams and is recruiting a Welding Quality Engineer.
The role involves ensuring the compliance of welding operations on manufactured equipment, in line with nuclear regulatory requirements and applicable quality standards. The Welding Quality Engineer works closely with manufacturing, inspection, and project quality assurance teams.
Main Responsibilities
Welding Process Compliance

Verify the compliance of welding procedures (DMOS / QMOS)

Ensure the application of normative and contractual requirements

Validate technical documents related to welding operations
Qualification Monitoring

Track welder qualifications
-
Verify the validity of certifications and authorizations
-
Assist in preparing qualification dossiers
Welding Quality Control
-
Check quality documentation related to welding operations
-
Participate in workshop and on-site inspections
-
Contribute to non-destructive testing (NDT) activities
Non-Conformance Management
-
Analyze deviations and non-conformities related to welding operations
-
Propose and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Participate in quality reviews and feedback sessions
Project Coordination

Act as the interface between manufacturing, inspection, and project quality teams

Ensure smooth communication of technical and quality information
Profile Sought
-
Holder of a higher education degree (Master’s / Bac+5) in engineering, materials, welding, or industrial quality, with significant experience in welding quality in a demanding industrial environment

Experience in nuclear, pressure equipment, or heavy manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred
Key Skills

Expertise in industrial welding processes
