Context

As part of complex, high-CAPEX industrial projects, we are looking for a Senior Planner capable of working during the construction execution phase in an EPC / EPCM environment.

The role involves coordinating multiple technical interfaces and contractors in highly concurrent work environments, with significant challenges related to deadlines, commissioning, and operational management.

Main Responsibilities

Planning Management & OPC

  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor actual work progress and analyze schedule deviations.
  • Identify critical paths and anticipate delays.
  • Implement recovery plans and corrective scenarios.
  • Perform What-If analyses and schedule simulations.
  • Monitor contractual milestones and schedule adherence.

Site Coordination & Interfaces

  • Lead OPC meetings and coordinate multi-package interfaces.
  • Coordinate between the Client, Engineering/Project Management teams, contractors, and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor commissioning sequences and start-up operations.
  • Participate in managing concurrent work areas and site flows.
  • Analyze the impacts of delays, procurement issues, and site constraints.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce site progress reports.
  • Prepare S-curves and perform schedule performance analyses.
  • Consolidate schedule data from the various project stakeholders.
  • Provide clear visibility on schedule and operational risks.

Required Profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning complex industrial projects.
  • Mandatory experience during the construction execution phase.
  • Significant experience in an EPC / EPCM environment.
  • Experience on large-scale, high-CAPEX industrial projects.
  • Good understanding of multicultural and international environments.
  • Professional English required (meetings, coordination, reporting).

Desirable Assets

  • Gigafactory / battery project experience
  • International EPC / EPCM experience
  • International supply chain coordination
  • Experience with CAPEX projects exceeding €100 million
  • Heavy commissioning experience
  • Interface with international suppliers / Joint Ventures (JVs)
  • Mandarin is a plus
