Context
As part of complex industrial projects with high CAPEX, we are looking for a Senior Planner able to work on construction execution phases within EPC / EPCM environments.
The role involves coordinating multiple technical interfaces and contractors in highly collaborative construction environments, with major challenges related to deadlines, commissioning, and operational management.
Main Responsibilities
Planning & Construction Coordination (OPC)
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor actual work progress and analyze schedule deviations.
- Identify critical paths and anticipate delays.
- Implement recovery plans and corrective scenarios.
- Perform What-If analyses and scheduling simulations.
- Monitor contractual milestones and schedule adherence.
Site Coordination & Interfaces
- Lead OPC meetings and coordinate multi-discipline interfaces.
- Ensure coordination between Owner, Engineering teams, contractors, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor commissioning sequences and start-up operations.
- Participate in managing work fronts and construction logistics in co-activity zones.
- Analyze impacts related to delays, procurement issues, and site constraints.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce construction progress reports.
- Prepare S-curves and schedule performance analyses.
- Consolidate scheduling data from various project stakeholders.
- Provide clear visibility on operational and schedule-related risks.
Profile Required
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning complex industrial projects.
- Mandatory experience during construction execution phases.
- Significant experience in EPC / EPCM environments.
- Experience on large-scale industrial CAPEX projects.
- Good understanding of multicultural and international environments.
- Professional English required (meetings, coordination, reporting).
