Location: Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France
Start Date: Immediate
Sector: Energy – Nuclear
Context
As part of nuclear projects, Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Design Engineers are required to strengthen engineering teams responsible for the design and sizing of low-voltage electrical installations. These projects involve highly regulated environments with stringent requirements related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Candidates with experience in the industrial or nuclear sectors are preferred; however, recent graduates who have completed a Final-Year Project (PFE – End-of-Studies Project) related to LV electrical engineering studies may also be considered.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform low-voltage electrical engineering studies within a nuclear environment.
• Design and size low-voltage electrical installations.
• Produce electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Prepare calculation notes and associated technical documentation.
• Participate in verifying compliance of studies with applicable standards, regulations, and nuclear safety requirements.
• Contribute to technical coordination with project teams and engineering disciplines.
• Update technical deliverables according to project progress and design changes.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to engineering studies.
Candidate Profile
• Engineering degree in Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience in LV electrical engineering studies within industrial or nuclear environments is appreciated.
• Junior candidates are welcome, provided they have completed a Final-Year Project (PFE) related to LV electrical engineering studies.
• Good understanding of low-voltage electrical installations.
• Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Caneco is considered an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in highly demanding and regulated environments.
