Context
As part of the development of urban infrastructure and energy performance projects, we are looking for an experienced Business Manager to oversee high value-added operations intended for local authorities.
The position covers the entire project life cycle, from needs analysis and responses to calls for tenders through execution monitoring and contract performance. It is part of an environment combining technical, financial, contractual, environmental, and energy-related challenges.
The projects notably concern public lighting, traffic light signaling, video surveillance, connected infrastructures, charging stations, and energy performance contracts.
Responsibilities & Duties
Business Development & Responses to Calls for Tenders
• Analyze the needs, constraints, and objectives of local authorities and contracting entities.
• Participate in developing response strategies and technical and financial proposals.
• Build business plans, profitability studies, and techno-economic analyses.
• Develop solutions adapted to the clients’ energy, environmental, and budgetary challenges.
• Participate in negotiations and commercial presentations.
Project Management
• Ensure the complete management of projects from the preliminary phase through acceptance.
• Guarantee the achievement of cost, quality, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Manage technical studies and coordinate the various stakeholders.
• Supervise the execution of services and support operational teams.
• Ensure the contractual and financial monitoring of operations.
Technical Coordination & Innovation
• Validate the technical solutions proposed for the projects.
• Coordinate partners, engineering consultancies, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Integrate energy performance, lighting sobriety, and sustainable development challenges.
• Participate in the evolution of offerings and the development of innovative solutions for territories.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Ensure the monitoring of technical, energy, and financial performance indicators.
• Produce the reporting required for management and clients.
• Guarantee compliance with contractual commitments and performance objectives.
• Identify risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Profile Sought
• Bachelor’s degree +2 to Bachelor’s/Master’s degree +5 in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in managing electrical works in an industrial environment.
• Mandatory mastery of industrial LV (Low Voltage).
• Knowledge of MV (Medium Voltage) and/or I&C (Instrumentation & Control) highly appreciated.
• Experience in managing site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Ability to work autonomously while ensuring regular reporting.
• Organizational skills, rigor, and responsiveness.
