Context
As part of the development and modernization of energy distribution infrastructure, we are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager – Underground Networks to manage civil engineering operations related to underground electrical networks.
The position covers the entire project life cycle, from technical studies to the acceptance of the works, ensuring the coordination of the various stakeholders and compliance with quality, safety, cost, and schedule objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties
Project Management
- Manage civil engineering operations related to underground networks.
- Ensure the technical, administrative, financial, and contractual follow-up of projects.
- Guarantee compliance with costs, deadlines, and contractual commitments.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Studies & Work Preparation
- Carry out technical studies and analyze site constraints.
- Define technical solutions adapted to project needs.
- Prepare technical specifications and participate in contractor consultations.
- Verify the compliance of studies with applicable standards and regulations.
Coordination & Site Supervision
- Plan and coordinate the works with contractors and partners.
- Monitor the execution of the works on site.
- Participate in site meetings and lead technical discussions.
- Control the quality of the work performed and compliance with the schedule.
- Accept completed works and monitor the clearance of punch-list items.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure the application of safety and prevention rules on construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with DT-DICT regulations and environmental requirements.
- Provide reporting to the project owner and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methods.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s degree +3 to +5 (Bachelor’s or Master’s equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Public Works, Infrastructure, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in project management, construction management, or the management of underground network projects.
- Good knowledge of energy distribution infrastructure.
- Experience in the energy, electrical networks, power plants, or photovoltaic sectors is an asset.
- Valid Category B driving license required for travel to construction sites.
