Context
We are seeking an experienced ICT & ELV Engineer to join our engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support the design, coordination, and integration of advanced ICT and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for high-end hospitality developments, ensuring reliable, secure, and fully integrated building technologies.
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in luxury hotel projects, intelligent building systems, and multidisciplinary coordination within leading engineering consultancies or EPC contractors.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate ICT and ELV systems for luxury hospitality projects.
- Support the engineering integration of Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), high-density Smart Wi-Fi, IPTV, and master clock systems.
- Design and coordinate security systems, including IP CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and structured cabling (VDI) infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between room automation systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS).
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist engineering teams to ensure efficient system integration.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, multidisciplinary coordination meetings, and technical workshops.
- Assist in resolving design clashes and technical issues throughout project delivery.
- Support system testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.
- Ensure all ICT and ELV designs comply with project requirements, international standards, and Buro Happold BIM and engineering standards.
. Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in ICT and ELV engineering, preferably within luxury hospitality or complex building developments.
- Experience working with Tier-1 engineering consultancies or EPC contractors is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of intelligent building technologies and integrated building systems.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects from design through construction and commissioning.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in 5-star hospitality Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS).
- Experience with hotel automation and intelligent building technologies.
- Proficiency in designing IP CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, IPTV, and structured cabling (VDI) systems.
- Good understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) integration.
- Knowledge of communication protocols including BACnet, KNX, and Modbus.
- Experience with software-to-hardware integration and system interoperability.
- Familiarity with Property Management System (PMS) integration within hospitality environments.
- Strong technical documentation and engineering coordination skills.
