Context
We are seeking an experienced Civil & Structure Manager to lead the structural engineering delivery of complex luxury hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing structural design activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) requirements, international engineering standards.
This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in structural design management for iconic buildings, luxury hotels, mega resorts, and large-scale mixed-use developments within leading engineering consultancies or Tier-1 design firms.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the structural engineering team throughout all project phases.
- Oversee and validate structural engineering deliverables for reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
- Ensure full compliance with established design standards, the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and applicable international codes.
- Coordinate structural engineering activities with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
- Resolve complex structural interfaces involving deep transfer slabs, long-span cantilevers, and architecturally challenging building forms.
- Coordinate structural provisions to facilitate the concealed integration of major MEP services within luxury public spaces and guestrooms.
- Review engineering calculations, technical reports, shop drawings, and design documentation.
- Manage coordination with third-party Independent Checking Engineers (ICE) and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor technical risks, engineering quality, and project progress while supporting timely project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to structural engineers and drafting teams.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status is preferred.
- Proven experience managing structural design for luxury hotels, mega resorts, landmark buildings, or complex mixed-use developments.
- Strong background within a leading engineering consultancy or Tier-1 design firm.
- Excellent knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international structural engineering standards.
