Context
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to lead architectural design coordination and shop drawing delivery for prestigious luxury hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure that the approved design intent and interior design concepts are translated into accurate, coordinated, and fully buildable construction documentation, while maintaining the highest standards of architectural quality.
This role is suited to professionals with extensive experience in the detailed design and site delivery of 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, and high-end mixed-use developments within leading architectural or engineering consultancies.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural shop drawing team throughout all project phases.
- Ensure schematic designs and interior design concepts are translated into coordinated and fully buildable architectural details.
- Review and approve architectural shop drawings, technical submittals, and construction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with luxury hospitality design standards, spatial planning requirements, and brand-specific guidelines.
- Enforce compliance with back-of-house (BOH) operational flows, guest circulation, and Saudi Arabian Civil Defense regulations.
- Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, MEP, interior design, and façade engineering teams.
- Supervise the detailing and coordination of premium façade stones, luxury interior cladding systems, bespoke finishes, and intricate Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP).
- Resolve technical design conflicts and ensure construction-ready documentation.
- Support value engineering initiatives without compromising design quality or hospitality standards.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in architectural design management for luxury hospitality projects, including 5-star hotels and high-end resorts.
- Strong background in detailed design, shop drawings, and construction-phase architectural coordination.
- Experience working within leading architectural or multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.
- Excellent knowledge of hospitality planning, BOH operations, and premium architectural finishes.
