Main Mission:
Model, design, and coordinate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a BIM environment, ensuring technical and graphical consistency of models and plans, from studies to implementation.
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and update HVAC digital models in Revit MEP, in accordance with the project’s BIM guidelines.
-
Create schematic diagrams, layout plans, air and hydraulic networks, reservation plans, and technical details.
-
Size networks (flows, pressure drops, sections, thermal power).
-
Integrate technical data provided by engineers (thermal calculations, power balances, equipment selection).
-
Participate in model reviews and BIM coordination meetings (clash detection, interdisciplinary synthesis).
-
Collaborate with designers of other trades (electrical, structural, plumbing, fire safety systems).
-
Ensure network consistency and compatibility with architectural and structural constraints.
-
Produce execution plans, sections, diagrams, and equipment lists.
-
Export data from the model (quantities, schedules, reservations).
-
Update technical documents according to design or execution changes.
-
Assist engineers and the BIM manager in evolving the model.
-
Participate in technical adjustments with suppliers and contractors.
-
Ensure traceability of modifications in the collaborative BIM environment.
Profile:
-
Technical education in HVAC engineering, building, or equivalent.
-
Mandatory proficiency in Revit MEP.
-
Solid knowledge of HVAC principles (airflow, hydraulics, control systems, thermal balances).
-
Good understanding of BIM processes (LOD, families, coordination, clash detection).
