Job Context:
As part of a major international LNG project, we are seeking an experienced Lead Planning Engineer to strengthen our planning team and support overall schedule control and project performance.
The position is based in Leatherhead, UK, within a complex, multidisciplinary engineering environment involving global technical and organizational interfaces.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate and align planning activities between Engineering, Procurement, and Construction disciplines.
- Prepare and present progress reports, critical path analyses, and schedule forecasts to project management.
- Identify schedule risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure consistency between planning data and Project Controls / Cost Control information.
- Guarantee that all planning activities comply with internal procedures, project standards, and client contractual requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes within the project controls team.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning within EPC, Oil & Gas, or LNG environments.
- Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced planning methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
