Main Mission:
Assist the Mechanical Discipline Construction Manager on-site by contributing to the operational, technical, and organizational implementation of the project. The role involves strong interaction with engineering, procurement teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient, safe, and quality-compliant execution of the construction site.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in executing the mechanical work assembly strategy as defined by the Construction Director.

  • Develop the detailed execution plan and schedule for the discipline to ensure compliance with the overall project schedule.

  • Liaise with engineering and procurement to ensure the availability of necessary documents and materials for work execution.

  • Implement and enforce company rules on-site, particularly regarding safety, quality, and the environment.

  • Ensure technical and operational coordination with supervisors and subcontractors for the smooth progress of activities.

  • Develop and use performance and monitoring tools, including LEAN tools.

  • Supervise the technical management of subcontractors and control execution quality.

  • Participate in implementing the EHS policy and raising employee awareness of risks and preventive measures.

  • Contribute to the resolution of quality deviations and the creation of final quality documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments for the transition to commissioning.

  • Ensure tracking and closure of punch list items.

  • Be responsible for environmental compliance and maintaining safe and clean work areas.

Profile Sought:

Education:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor/Master equivalent) or similar background.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in mechanical construction sites and subcontractor management.

  • Mastery of industrial piping principles and power plant systems.

  • Knowledge of major industrial project operations and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

  • Commercial awareness is appreciated.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Mobility:

  • Travel required to the United Kingdom (UK).
