Context
As part of industrial site construction projects, we are looking for a Project Manager / Business Manager with experience as a Primavera Planner and a strong hands-on, site-based project culture. This position is not for a purely “theoretical” planner, but for a Project Manager / Business Manager capable of planning, understanding real on-site constraints, and interacting closely with technical teams.
Main Responsibilities
Project Schedule Management
- Develop, structure, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Define key milestones, critical paths, and dependencies.
- Update schedules based on actual on-site progress.
- Analyze schedule slippages and propose concrete corrective actions.
Schedule Control / Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, business managers, and construction teams.
- Consolidate multi-discipline schedules (civil works, structural, process, utilities, etc.).
- Prepare scheduling materials for project meetings and client steering committees.
- Secure schedule commitments toward the client.
Technical and On-Site Dimension
- Understand industrial construction sequences.
- Integrate technical, logistical, and regulatory constraints into the schedule.
- Provide a critical assessment of the feasibility of proposed timelines.
- Participate, when necessary, in technical arbitrations impacting the schedule.
Profile
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in planning industrial construction projects.
- Hands-on site experience is mandatory.
Key Skills
- Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of industrial projects and their phases.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical profiles (engineers, supervisors).
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with a strong focus on deadlines.
