Context
As part of complex industrial projects in a regulated environment, the Qualification Engineer is responsible for the technical validation of piping isometrics and associated support systems.
He/She ensures that studies and installations comply with contractual requirements, applicable codes and standards, while meeting quality, cost, and schedule constraints.
The position is set within a demanding technical environment requiring strong document control discipline and close coordination with engineering teams.
Main Responsibilities
Qualification of Isometrics and Supports

Verify the consistency of piping isometrics with P&IDs, technical specifications, and calculation notes.

Analyze the design and layout of supports with respect to mechanical and regulatory constraints.

Ensure compliance with applicable industrial piping codes and standards.
Management and Monitoring of Qualification Activities

Plan and coordinate technical and document validation activities.

Participate in technical reviews with project teams and suppliers.
-
Contribute to testing and validation phases when required.

Act as an interface between disciplines (mechanical, process, quality).
Non-Conformity Analysis and Compliance

Identify technical deviations and non-conformities.
-
Propose and monitor appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in root cause analysis for major issues.
Reporting and Close-Out

Draft qualification reports and compile supporting documentation files.

Update monitoring indicators and ensure document traceability.

Participate in the final validation of technical files.
Profile Required
-
Master’s degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or industrial piping.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering or technical qualification.

Strong knowledge of piping isometrics and support systems.
-
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, EN, RCC-M, or equivalents depending on context).

Experience in a regulated industrial environment is a plus.

Fluent French and technical English required.
