Position Context
As part of highly critical industrial projects, particularly in the nuclear sector (EPR, facility maintenance, retrofit, industrial unit engineering), the AVEVA Engineering 1D Engineer is responsible for managing, structuring, and ensuring the reliability of technical data using AVEVA solutions.
Main Responsibilities
AVEVA Engineering 1D Administration & Operation
- Configure and administer AVEVA Engineering databases.
- Structure technical reference data: equipment, pipelines, instruments, and components.
- Manage technical catalogs, object classes, and associated attributes.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across different disciplines.
- Contribute to maintaining project data standards.
Technical Data Management
- Integrate and consolidate data from P&IDs, line lists, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and completeness of technical data.
- Generate exports, reports, and engineering deliverables.
- Ensure traceability of data changes and updates.
- Contribute to configuration management activities.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams:
- Process
- Piping
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Instrumentation & Control
- Participate in technical reviews and coordination meetings.
- Interface with AVEVA E3D teams and document management systems (DMS).
- Help resolve cross-discipline data inconsistencies.
Required Profile
Education
- Engineering degree or equivalent in industrial engineering, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or technical information systems.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in complex industrial projects.
- Significant experience in the nuclear sector or highly regulated environments is a plus.
- Proven experience in EPC / industrial engineering projects.
