Context

As part of projects in tertiary, industrial, and major accounts environments, we are looking for a Design Office and Commissioning Technician specialized in low-voltage security systems.

The role combines technical preparation activities within the design office and on-site interventions related to inspection, testing, and commissioning of security installations. The technician will be involved throughout all project phases to ensure compliance and proper operation of the installed equipment.

Responsibilities

Design Office

• Analyze LV electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Update plans, as-built documentation (DOE), and technical documents.
• Participate in preparing execution and commissioning files.
• Verify consistency between studies, installed equipment, and site constraints.
• Monitor modifications carried out on-site and report technical discrepancies.

Commissioning & Field Work

• Inspect installations before energization.
• Perform continuity tests, wiring inspections, and connections.
• Commission security system equipment.
• Carry out first-level configuration according to defined procedures.
• Conduct functional testing and validate proper operation of installations.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues.
• Participate in resolving punch-list items.
• Prepare intervention reports and testing records.

Required Profile

• Technical background in electrotechnics, electrical engineering, or security systems.
• Experience with low-voltage installations and security environments.
• Strong ability to read and analyze electrical plans and technical diagrams.
• Ability to work both in a design office and on-site.
• Organized, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within project teams.
