Context
As part of a large-scale project focused on the design and deployment of electrical infrastructures, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer / Designer specialized in LV / MV / HV. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities, from feasibility studies to commissioning, including plan design, electrical sizing, and technical follow-up.
Main Responsibilities
Technical studies / feasibility

Review and analyze client specifications.

Perform site surveys of existing installations.

Produce installation drawings (CAD/CAE) for LV, MV, HV systems.

Carry out sizing calculations:

cable sections, voltage drop, mechanical strength (overhead lines/supports),
-
short-circuit capacity, selectivity of electrical protections.

Cost estimation / budgeting
-
Quantify required equipment (transformers, cables, switchgear, protections, LV/HV panels).

Estimate labor, civil works, earthworks, foundations, and associated structures.
-
Prepare quotations and commercial offers.
Drawings / design / approvals
-
Produce CAD drawings (Autocad, specialized software).

Prepare single-line diagrams, protection schemes, layout drawings, and civil engineering guide plans.

Deliver execution drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Coordination & stakeholder management

Act as the technical interface between the design office, suppliers, site managers, and the client.

Participate in supplier selection.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, HV regulations, and environmental norms.
Project follow-up / commissioning

Monitor schedule and budget during the design phase.

Participate in testing, commissioning, and provide technical support during start-up.

Prepare as-built documentation (DOE) and final study/reception reports.
Documentation & compliance

Draft technical notes, specifications, product sheets, and offer descriptions.

Ensure regulatory and standards monitoring (electrical safety, HV, protections).

Manage technical documentation: updating and archiving drawings and records.
Profile Sought
-
Degree Bac+3 to Bac+5 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in LV (control-command) with strong exposure to HV projects.

Proficiency in CAD/CAE with Autocad (specialized software appreciated).

Strong skills in electrical sizing and MV/HV standards.

Solid knowledge of safety norms and applicable regulations.

Team player with autonomy and rigor.
