Context
As part of engineering and design projects for electrical infrastructure in commercial buildings and data centers, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Power Systems (CFO) Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical engineering studies, electrical system sizing, preparation of technical documentation, and support during the procurement and construction phases.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Carry out electrical power (CFO) design studies for commercial building and data center projects.
- Perform sizing calculations for cables, protection devices, and electrical equipment.
- Design low-voltage electrical architectures and power distribution schemes.
- Participate in defining technical solutions incorporating Main Low Voltage Switchboards (MLVS), electrical distribution boards, generator sets, UPS systems, and batteries.
- Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, CCTP, and tender documentation.
- Produce cost estimates and installation budgets.
- Analyze technical bids and manage supplier consultations.
- Produce, review, and coordinate electrical drawings and schematics.
- Carry out lighting calculations using Dialux.
- Participate in technical meetings with the various project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during construction phases and participate in site visits.
- Ensure the integration of service continuity and redundancy principles specific to critical infrastructure.
Required Profile
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy or design office.
- Mandatory experience in industrial electrical engineering.
- Experience on data center or critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and backup power systems.
