Position Context
As part of major industrial projects involving high technical complexity, ProjectTech is seeking an HSE Manager capable of supporting the construction execution phase within demanding and highly co-activated industrial environments.
The role requires a strong daily site presence on multi-package and multi-company projects, with significant challenges related to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination.
The HSE Manager acts as the site safety reference for the client, contractors, and all project stakeholders.
Missions & Responsibilities
Site HSE Management
- Ensure the deployment and application of HSE standards on site
- Conduct site safety inspections and HSE audits
- Identify hazardous situations and implement necessary corrective actions
- Manage incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Perform root cause analyses and monitor corrective action plans
- Track HSE KPIs and provide reporting to project management and the client
- Review PPSPS documents, permits, authorizations, and prevention plans
- Verify compliance of PPE and collective protection systems
- Promote a strong safety culture on site
- Be capable of enforcing Stop Work actions when necessary
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with HSE requirements
Operational Site Coordination
- Ensure daily field presence across work areas
- Operate within highly co-activated environments
- Participate in coordination of site interfaces with all stakeholders
- Manage interfaces with the Client, Engineering teams, OPC, CSPS, and contractors
- Attend construction meetings and safety reviews
- Support operational teams in field risk management
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and site legal requirements
- Ensure SPS and ICPE compliance
- Participate in monitoring ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements
- Ensure compliance with client and project HSE standards
Required Profile
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience on industrial construction sites
- Proven experience during construction execution phases
- Experience on large-scale industrial / high CAPEX projects
- Experience in multi-package and multi-company environments
- Strong field-oriented safety culture is mandatory
- International or multicultural environment experience is a plus
- Experience working directly with clients and contractors
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of industrial TCE environments
- Knowledge of civil engineering, structural works, steel structures, and utilities/roadworks (VRD)
- Understanding of MEP packages, utilities, fluid systems, and HVAC
- Strong understanding of complex industrial process environments
- Ability to read and understand technical construction documentation
- Experience managing complex site interfaces
