Context
As part of high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, HV Substation Project Managers are responsible for the technical, contractual, and operational management of projects related to substations and HV installations. The role covers the supervision of engineering studies, construction activities, and coordination of all project stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage HV substation projects from initiation through to final acceptance and handover.
• Monitor the technical, financial, and contractual progress of projects.
• Coordinate engineering teams, construction teams, and subcontractors.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of project schedules.
• Ensure that project deliverables comply with technical specifications and contractual requirements.
• Participate in client meetings and act as the interface between all project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities for installations.
Candidate Profile
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in Electrotechnics, Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working on HV substation and high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage substations and electrical installations.
• Experience in project management, business management, or technical project delivery.
• Ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• High level of organization, autonomy, and accountability.
