Context
As part of a major infrastructure project, we are looking for an MEP BIM Modeler to strengthen the technical teams responsible for BIM modeling and coordination.
You will be involved in the production and updating of BIM models for the various technical disciplines (HV, LV, HVAC, and plumbing), working closely with design engineers, construction teams, partner engineering design offices, and all project stakeholders. You will also contribute to the quality of BIM deliverables and the technical coordination between disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling and Production
- Develop BIM models for technical installations.
- Produce and update BIM models for High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), HVAC, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
- Incorporate design developments and construction-related modifications into the BIM models.
- Ensure the graphical and technical quality of the BIM models.
BIM Coordination and Clash Detection
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings.
- Perform multidisciplinary coordination of the various technical disciplines.
- Identify clashes between networks and equipment (Clash Detection).
- Analyze interfaces between electrical, HVAC, civil engineering, architectural, and technical equipment disciplines.
- Propose solutions to resolve technical clashes.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with design engineers, technical managers, and construction teams.
- Coordinate technical exchanges with engineering design offices and subcontractors.
- Incorporate comments resulting from BIM model reviews.
- Participate in the preparation of BIM deliverables.
Document Management
- Apply the project’s BIM standards and protocols.
- Manage version control of BIM models.
- Verify the compliance of BIM deliverables.
- Participate in the preparation of digital As-Built Documentation (DOE).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MEP BIM modeling.
- Production of BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Clash Detection and clash resolution.
- Technical coordination of HV, LV, HVAC, and plumbing disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good understanding of electrical and HVAC systems.
- BIM document management and digital As-Built Documentation (DOE).
- Compliance with BIM standards and collaborative workflows.

Candidate Profile
- Degree (Bachelor’s to Master’s level) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction, Civil Engineering, or BIM Design.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modeling.
- Experience on complex infrastructure projects such as transportation, metro systems, railway stations, tunnels, industrial buildings, or nuclear facilities.
- Experience on a Grand Paris Express project is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
