Context
As part of the strengthening of our teams on a major industrial project in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Piping Designer. You will work on updating models and technical documentation in an industrial environment, ensuring the compliance of deliverables with project requirements.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage the entire life cycle of the Mechanical & Plumbing packages.
· Develop, monitor and adjust short- and medium-term schedules.
· Supervise the progress of the works, remove blocking points and ensure compliance with construction and commissioning milestones.
· Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams to ensure the safety, quality and performance of the works.
· Manage resources, deliveries, site logistics and the sequencing of operations.
· Ensure the interface with the Civil Engineering/Structure/Architecture (CSA), Electrical, Quality and Commissioning teams.
· Lead inspections, punch list clearance and acceptance activities for the works.
· Participate in constructability reviews, design changes and scope modifications.
· Ensure the monitoring of contracts and services related to M&P works.
Technical Skills
· Engineering Degree or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, thermal engineering or construction management.
· Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management, including at least 3 years managing Mechanical & Plumbing packages.
· Confirmed experience on complex industrial projects, Gigafactory, Data Center, nuclear or highly technical installations.
· Good knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulic networks, industrial plumbing and piping.
· Knowledge of applicable French and European standards and regulations.
· Proficiency in BIM, planning and document management tools.
