Main Missions

Analysis and Sizing:

  • Calculate and size piping and supports to ensure proper operation of piping systems.

  • Write calculation assumptions notes.

  • Model piping networks using numerical simulation tools (Pipestress, Beamstress, Robot Structural).

  • Produce flexibility and support calculation reports.

Technical Coordination:

  • Communicate with draftsmen/designers to convey modifications or optimizations.

  • Verify and validate calculation notes prepared by other engineers.

  • Report regularly to the study manager.

Required Tools

  • Mandatory: Pipestress (piping flexibility calculations)

  • For supports: Beamstress and/or Robot Structural

  • For anchoring calculations: HILTI Profis or VerifPlatines

Profile Sought

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in piping flexibility and support calculations for EDF nuclear facilities.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of EDF engineering methods, procedures, and culture.

  • Mastery of standards and constraints specific to the nuclear sector.
