Position Context

As part of outdoor electrical infrastructure projects, the Public Lighting Project Manager is responsible for the operational and financial management of projects related to public lighting networks, urban asset enhancement (VPU), and traffic light signaling systems (SLT).

The role involves full project management responsibilities, from work preparation through final completion, with a strong field presence and coordination of both internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Ensure the complete management of assigned projects from launch through final acceptance of the works.

• Define the human, material, and organizational resources required for the successful execution of operations.

• Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

• Monitor the financial performance of projects and oversee performance indicators.

Work Management and Operational Coordination

• Organize, supervise, and coordinate field operations related to public lighting, VPU, and SLT activities.

• Manage construction teams and supervise subcontractors when necessary.

• Anticipate technical constraints and propose solutions adapted to site conditions.

• Ensure proper execution of works and their technical compliance.

Technical Management and Client Relations

• Participate in needs analysis and the definition of technical solutions.

• Act as the interface with clients, local authorities, operators, and project partners.

• Prepare quotations, consultations, contractual follow-up, and progress reporting.

• Participate in site meetings and manage change requests.

Administrative and Financial Monitoring

• Prepare and monitor project budgets.

• Control financial commitments and monitor expenditures.

• Prepare work progress statements and oversee invoicing follow-up.

• Ensure proper administrative and documentary closure of projects.

Required Criteria

Education

Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac +2 to Bac +5) in Electrical Engineering, Public Works, Electrical Networks, or equivalent field.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of public lighting installations and outdoor electrical networks

• Understanding of construction contracts and contractual management

• Ability to manage costs, schedules, and resources

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents

• Proficiency with project tracking and reporting tools
