Context
As part of electronic security projects for major corporate clients, we are looking for a Security Systems Expert capable of working across the entire project lifecycle: studies, integration, technical supervision, commissioning, and final acceptance of installations.
The position requires strong technical expertise in low-current systems and electronic security, acting as a technical reference for design office teams, site works, and commissioning teams. The expert will also coordinate the various technical stakeholders and ensure compliance of delivered installations.
Main Responsibilities
Studies & Technical Expertise
- Analyze specifications, technical requirements, and project documentation.
- Define functional and technical architectures for security systems.
- Prepare or validate technical notes and engineering documents.
- Review system diagrams, layout drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Verify equipment lists and ensure the technical consistency of proposed solutions.
- Support engineering teams in selecting equipment and technical solutions.
- Participate in technical meetings and project review sessions.
- Contribute to the preparation of as-built documentation and handover files.
Commissioning & Site Supervision
- Define commissioning strategies and testing procedures.
- Supervise functional testing of security installations.
- Support or lead equipment configuration and programming activities.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and monitor corrective actions.
- Coordinate technical teams, system integrators, and commissioning technicians.
- Follow up on technical punch-list items until closure.
- Validate test reports and commissioning documentation.
- Participate in final acceptance operations and ensure technical compliance of installations.
Profile Required
- Higher education degree in electrical engineering, low-current systems, or electronic security.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in engineering/design offices and technical supervision within low-current/security environments.
- Strong expertise in electronic security systems in complex environments.
- Ability to manage cross-functional technical topics and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Good understanding of construction site operations and commissioning activities.
- Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in demanding project environments.
