Context
As part of our business growth and the development of new projects, we are looking for a Head of Design Office to manage and coordinate all technical studies. Acting as a key technical reference, you will contribute to the success of projects from the tender phase through to execution.
Main Responsibilities
Design Office Management
-
Organize and plan studies in coordination with Project Managers.

Prioritize projects and allocate workload within the design office.

Ensure the quality of technical deliverables and compliance with deadlines.

Structure and improve the methods, tools, and processes of the design office.

Support the professional development of team members.
Technical Studies & Design
-
Manage and/or carry out technical studies in the following areas:
-
Public lighting and urban enhancement
-
Low/medium voltage electrical networks (BT/HTA)
-
Electric vehicle charging infrastructure (IRVE)
-
Smart city solutions, video surveillance, and urban equipment
-

Produce and validate technical documents:
-
Plans
-
Calculation notes
-
Execution files
-
-
Ensure compliance of studies with standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Tenders & Cost Estimation
-
Analyze tender documents (DCE).
-
Propose optimized technical solutions adapted to client needs.
-
Contribute to project cost estimation with Project Managers.
-
Identify technical risks and propose alternatives.
Interface with Construction Teams
-
Ensure technical transfer of studies to on-site teams.
-
Provide technical support during execution phases.
-
Participate in internal and client technical meetings.
Quality – Safety – Environment (QSE)
-
Integrate QSE requirements from the study phase.
-
Contribute to risk prevention through appropriate technical designs.
-
Participate in feedback sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile Required
Education & Experience
-
Technical education Bac+2 minimum (Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering, Public Works, or equivalent).
-
Proven experience in a design office (minimum 2 years), ideally in environments similar to CITEOS / electrical networks and public lighting companies.

Field or on-site experience is a real asset.
